How do I get started with an insulin pump?
First, discuss insulin pump therapy with your healthcare professional. Then request your free information kit about the ACCU-CHEK® Combo system.
Once you and your doctor have agreed that insulin therapy is right for you, the Roche Health Solutions team will be available to answer your questions and even verify your insurance coverage, to ensure that you pay the lowest out-of-pocket costs possible. After that, our dedicated pump support representatives will work with you and your healthcare team to provide the pump, training, and ongoing support you need to carry out your prescribed treatment.
Are insulin pumps covered by insurance?
Many insurance companies cover all or part of the cost of an insulin pump. The Roche Health Solutions team will work directly with your insurance provider to make sure you get the maximum coverage available.
What is “remote control pump technology”?
REMOTE CONTROL PUMP TECHNOLOGY™, powered by Bluetooth®, lets you control the pump without ever having to touch it. The pump and meter can communicate over a 6½-foot range, so a parent can control a child's pump, or you can control your own pump while it stays tucked inside your clothes. You don’t have to touch the pump to calculate a bolus, deliver insulin, or adjust settings.
