Updates for ACCU-CHEK® Smart Pix Device Reader

ACCU-CHEK® Smart Pix Device Reader update v 2.01
For updating ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix to the most recent version: This update enables merging of bG and insulin data, merging of data from several bG meters, new language support, new bG meter support, as well as improved graphs and reports.

  1. Before an update, ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix has to be in the search-for-device mode. This mode is entered after connecting ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix to the USB port and is indicated by two slowly blinking blue lights.
  2. The update is accomplished by saving the update file on the ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix drive itself. The file will be checked by ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix automatically for correctness and the update procedure is then initiated. To do this, click ‘save’ from the dialog box that appears, then save the file to the ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix drive, indicated by the designation SMART_PIX.

  3. Once the file is saved to the ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix Device Reader, ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix shows intensive blinking of the LED lights for about 20 seconds. After that, ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix is automatically rebooted and can be re-launched with the new version in the usual way, by opening the SMART_PIX drive and double-clicking START.HTM.
