It has come to our attention that lancets, sold under the name Softlet II®, are available and being promoted for use with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device. Softlet II lancets are not made by or for Roche and are not sold by Roche.

Further, Softlet II lancets do not always work properly with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device. Using Softlet II lancets with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device may cause the device to malfunction, as the lancets do not properly eject from the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device. Improper ejection of lancets could subject the user to possible injury.

Roche, and only Roche, sells ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancets that are specifically designed and manufactured for use with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device. ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancets are specifically manufactured for proper operation with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device.

Still further, only Roche is legally authorized to sell ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancets for use with the ACCU-CHEK Softclix lancing device.
