The American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF), with the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), lead a broad coalition known as the Diabetes Care Coalition formed to increase awareness among people with diabetes of the serious health complications of unmanaged diabetes and the importance of the A1C test in helping to manage the disease.
