The program will work with all existing ACCU-CHEK® Cables. If you already have one of these cables, you do not need to purchase a new one. If you do not have one, you may purchase one by calling the ACCU-CHEK Customer Service Center at 1-800-428-5076 or through our secure online ordering system.
Which browsers can I use with the Diabetes Assistant® Program?
The program has been validated against Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Packs 1 and 2, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
How am I being charged for this service?
The Diabetes Assistant® Program is a free service provided by Roche Diagnostics, the makers of ACCU-CHEK products.
How can I send an e-mail to my doctor from the Diabetes Assistant® Program?
To send an e-mail, simply select the report you want to send and click on the e-mail button.
What is the serial or COM port?
This is a communication port on the back of the computer where your cable will plug into the computer.
How do I download my meter into the Diabetes Assistant® Program?
Just log in to your account on www.accu-chek.com. Then open the Diabetes Assistant® Program, connect your meter, and click on the "Upload Meter" icon.
Why would I get a security warning while using the Diabetes Assistant® Program?
The program is on a secure site to protect the integrity of your data. Some browsers and operating systems will warn you when you are entering a secure site.
Will I get duplicate data on my reports if I download the same results more than once?
No. The data will be merged together and duplicate data will not be transferred.
